Delicious food and warm friendly atmosphere. Lamb ribs were absolutely incredible. All home made and authentic. Friendly staff.
Sensational food, brilliant service … a home away from home! The owner was so accommodating, the staff warm and attentive and food was delicious.
This restaurant is a lovely place, serves very delicious food, especially the grilled fish, and has wonderful welcoming service. It's a gem.

"Visited due to good reviews, and the pancakes were tasty (a little on the pricey side perhaps two portions of pancakes, a tea and a coffee was over £28). Good vegan and gluten free options. Let down terribly by the service. We wondered why it was taking so long to get a table. We were in a queue that was outside the front entrance. There were 3 tables free for a while, but they hadn’t been cleaned or even acknowledged by the staff for over 10 minutes (they were stood behind the counter chatting with eachother or on their phones). We eventually got seated at a dirty table, and wasn’t given menus or told how to order. When we eventually ordered at the counter, the staff were quite rude and seemed more interested in chatting with eachother rather than taking any food orders. Nobody came to check during our meal to see if our food/ drinks was ok. Disappointed by the service and very unlikely to return again."

"Definitely the best burgers in Brighton, always served with a smile and a bit of a chat. It’s a small establishment, but they have a good window seat where you can watch the world go by while enjoying a super juicy burger. Also their gluten free buns are really good for gluten free. Yum yum"

"Very nice little cafe for a drink or snack. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We had coffee, which was really nice, although could have done with being warmer.Seating inside and out. Parking is quite difficult."

"We visited the Fig Tree for a birthday lunch and had the set 3 course meal which was as good as any Michelin starred restaurants we have visited. The two waitresses were attentive without being intrusive and were particularly helpful with choosing a wine pairing for each course. Great value for money, I really can't speak too highly of this restaurant and look forward to returning for their evening tasting menu."
