This is my all time favourite pub, staff are brilliant and accomodating, food is great and I always bring my friends here for some lunch, chips are amazing and really nicely priced, one portion is enough to share with 2 or 3 people! What Dražeta Marinčić doesn't like about The Caxton Arms:
Disappointed with this meal. My starter of calamari was undercooked. My main of soft shell crab was a mound of crab in a heavy yellow curry. Thing that troubled me most was that it was only warm on the outside yet pretty hot on the inside. Went for Sunday Lunch. Service with a smile but food was like eating a school dinner. Gravy, meat and potatoes very poor.
Great landlord and staff. Good quality beer, wine and food. Excellent roast dinners . Good idea to have games and books for patrons to use whilst there.
