"We booked at the logis as it seemed convenient to stay over on the way from Bordeaux to Calais. The room was comfortable, it was the hottest day of the year and now air conditioning, but they had shuttered the room for us in advance and it was relatively cool. A nice little town, we were there on market day, a taste of provincial France.The surprise was the michelin standard of the food -and this includes the breakfast. What a wonderful end to a holiday in France, which included a river tour on the Garonne. We will be back."

"The food I ate here in 2014 was the best I can remember having in any restaurant. Beautifully cooked and presented. We sat out the front for the evening which was pleasant. The people who run the place were welcoming and didn't mind my terrible Franglais."
