We organised an engagement party here and had an amazing time. Hayley, who was our functions co-ordination, answered all our questions and was very accomodating to our specific requests, nothing was too hard and she provided us with options that would work for us. What Kennedi Willms doesn't like about Darling and Co:
I made a booking, guests got there and 'somehow' it wasn't recorded. Despite having spoken to the staff-member at length at the time of the booking about the seating and what time we had to be out, it was (according to the manager) my fault because I didn't call back to confirm before we arrived. Guests were forced to run around last minute and find somewhere to eat. Worst part was no apology was made. View all feedback.
We had our engagement party here, and it was a fabulous choice.
Look let's start with the positives, this place has a fabulous fit out and is awesome spot for a summer afternoon drink and would be a great function
Location and event was greatFood was also brilliant. Your service from two of the barmaids was the worst I've experienced.
Had breakfast here as part of a networking event. Food was average, the sourdough seemed to have been cooked a while before it was served so it was chewy. Perhaps because they were catering for a large number is was average?
Noticed this cafe on the Qantas website so booked a table for breakfast. Luckily we were able to bring the pooch along as there was a small area of outdoor seating fronting the Stadium on Given Tce. On the coffee alone I am scoring a 4.5 as it presented picture perfect & tasted smooth with elegant notes. The food was mediocre with a simple array of menu items. I opted for avocado again with feta, nothing wrong with it, generous serve, but lacked that punch
