"I don’t write reviews. If I write, I’d write it with great appreciation. <br/>I live in Newstead and that is why I decided to try this restaurant (I usually try Japanese restaurant cautiously). This is my third ?forth time to dine in on a Saturday for lunch. This restaurant has not disappointed me even once since it’s opening.<br/>I have Kaisen don (sashimi don) every time. The sashimi is always nice and fresh in good variety and generous serving. <br/>Also, the staffs are always warm and welcoming.<br/>If my partner or friend ask me to go out for a poke bowl, I would rather come here for a sashimi don without a hesitation. <br/>Finally, I believe the quality of the food is better than how it is rated."

"We made a last minute decision to go out for dinner and chose Mon's because it was close and we had never been. It was a great choice. Staff are friendly and professional. The food is delicious and so flavoursome! Prices are not so bad either, not all meals but the ones we tried were pretty average priced. All in all a good experience :)"

"I go only for the ban-mi. The half dozen times I have gone I get a different result. They are tasty, garlicky but need to be consistent in spice level, flavour (sauce) and fill. the little Viet bakery in the valley mall is more consistent and costs 1/3 less"

"It's not everyday that you see there is a Korean restaurant in the northside area but finally, here in Chermside, you can finally go to one without having to go that extra mile down to the city or southside just to get your Korean fix. Their menu ranges quite widely offering various dishes from noodles and rice as well as fried chicken and hot pot. A humble but cute nook I have to say, filled with wooden chairs and tables."
