"We decided on The Raven for a fancier option for dinner. The Raven definitely has an elevated, upscale feel. Great spot for a date night. I was able to get a reservation earlier in the day for the evening ahead. I highly recommend a reservation as it filled up quickly. I thought the service was excellent. Our server was super friendly and chatted with us a bit knowing we were visitors/ from out of town. I ordered the saffron seafood pot. It was excellent! Extremely flavorful and all the variety of seafood tasted fresh. Dessert is also a must. The crème brûlée was unlike any I'd ever had. Great experience at The Raven. Definitely would return next time I make it back to Jasper!"

"My wife and I went to this establishment on a Friday night around 4-5pm. We both sat at the bar. There was a young lady on the other side of the bar on the phone for around 5 minutes, she did make eye contact with us. After she hung up the phone she walked away. There was another bar tender there as well. After around 15 minutes or so nobody came by to ask what we wanted or offer a menu. They were not that busy at the time. My wife and I gave up and walked out. I can't give a review positive or negative."

"This is the first time that I’ve been to Jasper where Bear’s Paw’s other location was open. It’s located a bit further down the mainroad on Connaught Drive. The interior is a lot bigger, and nicer, with a lot more seating. They serve a few more items here, such as sandwiches, and many other pastries. We had just gotten into Jasper and stopped by for a quick bite. We got their Chicken Little sandwich, a cinnamon bun, and a hot chocolate to share."

"We recalled eating at this restaurant several years ago so decided to stop when we were in Jasper last week. We definitely were impressed The service was excellent and we enjoyed visiting with the young Norwegian waitress. The menu selection is varied and the food was great! We would strongly recommend anyone visiting Jasper to give it a try. We know you won't be disappointed."

"This place is a hidden secret! Very intimate, 10 person seating eatery. My wife and I were fortunate enough to come in on our only night staying at the Fairmont. We walked in at last seating (9:15pm). Prices were not outrageous compared to the other hotel restaurants. But that doesn’t mean the quality was sacrificed. This is a slow, relaxed and delicious place to eat. Make reservations weeks, if not months in advance. The chef, Oka, makes great conversation and adds to the ambience. You will not be disappointed!"

"Probably one of the worse experiences waited 10minutes to be seated was only seated after and would be quick the place was empty but was told they had reservations 90minutes later the restaurant was still empty). The server seemed puzzled most of the evening my soup was a little cool taste was average at best. Had the lamb shank was obviously reheated as it was cool in the middle their was a it was in a flavourless liquid?.. dessert I had the creme brûlée thinking how could they screw it up ... they did sugar wasn't melted so got a mouthful of low grade white sugar. The server alerted the manager offered an apology only after a long discussion with I guess the chef s they stared at us from afar. One of the worse meals I've had in 50 years!!! Oh they gave me 10% off WOW. I will say the front desk staff were very friendly and professional"
