This is a lovely traditional English pub,it has a good selection of real ale's,larger's ,wines and spirits. The food is amazing Best fish and chips I've ever had the steak and ale pie is amazing .The service was professional and friendly lovely bar staff.Great garden and play area for the kids.Nice atmosphere not many pubs like this left!! What moomoo042015 doesn't like about The Queens Head:
Visited at 6.30 in a Saturday and it was packed. Fortunately we’d reserved a table. We both had fish and chips which was a huge portion. The fish was ok, not a great deal of taste. Wine was £15 a bottle which was reasonable. Staff were all very polite. What spoilt it was the ladies toilets. The smell was absolutely disgusting and in much need of a refurb. Will I visit again?
