"We all ate from the well priced and generous menu. The starters of foie gras, tartare of tuna and grey shrimp rissoles were all delicious. Main courses of rare tuna steaks, aiguillettes de canard and tornados steak with foie gras were each perfect. A nice touch was the cornet de frites served in a little stand with the steak. The locally produced ewe's milk ice cream came in a large variety of flavours including violette and marbré de pèche, all finished down to the last spoonful. Lovely and attentive service and delicious local wines including a very good Vermentino."

"Only found superb fish restaurant by recommendation from our accommodation owners as we had walked passed the window a few times without realising what it was.Once we went downstairs, we found this lovely cosy and very smart establishment which served fantastic food. It has an open kitchen, so it was lovely to see the chef preparing our food and everything was very relaxed.We loved Chez Gil so much, we broke our holiday rule and went back for a second meal on our last evening in France."
