"So delicious. I love getting the Zazel breakfast sandwich, the Big Top and customizing my own: 7 sub, roast turkey, cheddar, mayo, pickles, tomato pepperoncinis. It is really amazing! The staff is always great, especially the really cool owner. A staple in downtown Brunswick."

"I have to give a massive shoutout to the crew of this restaurant. I ordered dinner after a hike in Harpswell and didn't realize they were closing early due to low staff. When I arrived, the place was closing yet I was still charged for my meal. I managed to catch an employee outside and tell him of the matter and the crew went out of their way — despite in closing mode — to make my meal. So much respect for the job and dedication to customer service. I appreciate the extra effort! If anyone in the area is looking for a job, they really need more hands on deck right now. Get over there pronto."

"Good portion without being too much, had a fish and chips (onion rings) and a scallop basket with fries and Cole slaw. Nice retro vibe, a great stop on road trip!"

"Waited for a 3 pizza order over an hour. After multiple times I'm sorry for the delay and there'll be another 5-10 min I canceled the order. The manager came and instead of offering an apology, he went directly to the register and gave me a gift certificate perhaps to buy my silence? I think he needs a better education to deal with such a situation. No good experience"

"We loved this diner absolutely, the food was exceptionally fresh, creative and so delicious! We loved it so much, we came back the next day. The crab benny was the best crab cake we ever had. The service was also really great, they were pleasant and very charming. Next time we're in the area it's a "must have" stop!"

"Lovely small Italian Mediterranean Restaurant Eclectic small menu Nice wine and beer selection by the glass options. Appetizers were almost meal size. We shared Arancini stuffed w cheese and veggies as well mini gyros Would have been enough as dinner. Warm Broccoli Arrostiti was good, but could have been actually warm and needed a bit more dressing. Added eggplant slice was best part. Insalata Classico ordinary Chicken Marsala A plus Will return Excellent wait staff Dietary restrictions: Several GF options Salad and Chicken Marsala"

"The blueberry pie and lobster roll is a must! They also have fresh fish to buy and take. You order at a window then wait for your name to be called. The small indoor area is for grocery shopping. There are benches undercover to sit and wait for your food. Picnic tables are available next to the water when weather permits. This is not a wheelchair approved restaurant. With some mobility issues you can make it indoors but the picnic area is a little more treacherous. There are no bathrooms but an outhouse. It is more a order to go place. The food was great. Whole clams in the clam chowder, large chucks of lobster in the soup and rolls, but the crab cake sandwich had hardly any crab. No chucks of meat mostly filler. This might be the Maine way as I 'm use to Maryland crab cakes. It still had good flavor. This is certainly a must stop."

"We were very disappointed with the food on our recent visit and will not return again. Three of us ordered French Onion Soup. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time (midday/not busy), our soup was brought to the table cold and tasted like water with some onions added. We returned all three. Two of us ordered the exact salad but one salad was double the size of the other and the smaller one was missing half the toppings it was a $16 salad with some lettuce. We are extremely disappointed, wasted good money on crappy food, and had our much anticipated lunch with family ruined. You'd think with complaints at the table, we'd at least have a manager or chef visit the table, but of course not. Keep driving down Route 1 if you come upon this place McDonaids would have been a better option."
