I was ravenous and stopped in for a quick bite on a Saturday and was impressed with the menu. Lots of breakfast items, a huge lunch menu and lots of choices. All the items are served all day so you'll have lots to choose from. The restaurant is BYO so you'll have to pick up your favorite beverage if you want more than tea, coffee or soft drinks.I chose the BLT which was a great choice. Incredibly fresh bread, scrumpt... Choose to dine here for breakfast based on previous reviews. We were greeted by a lovely young girl who sat us on a table with reserved sign. I questioned sitting there and she said it was fine. Within 30 seconds of sitting down an older lady abrubtly told us that our table was reserved and that we couldn't sit there. This restaurant serves the best coffee on the coast. The food was delicious and generous, all at a reasonable price. The place was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be returning and would recommend it to anyone.
Consistently great coffee. Good staff. A very pleasant place for coffee/breakfast/lunch our favourite coffee shop.
Unfortunately, the mango smoothie was more coconut and ice than mango or milk/ice cream. The salad sandwich on sourdough was hard and dry, and could have used some butter or being toasted. The Savoury Mince on toast was lukewarm and lacked flavor. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food quality and will not be returning.
This was the first restaurant I have been to where the food was served before the drinks. We had already finished our meals by the time the drinks arrived. There was only one person serving and making drinks, causing a delay. I don't think I will be rushing to come back here.
Lovely girl serving and nice waiter. Had quiche which was lovely and good value. BUT the best thing are the pastries. They have Portugese tarts!! Best pastry ever invented and very difficult to come across. I had the creme brulee which had a lovely pastry and not too sweet just delicious.
