Cafe de Lipa was a regular stop on our way back from Batangas. Today, we made the drive just visit the Cafe. Recently remodeled, Cafe de Lipa is best known for coffee and pastries but they also have full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. We used to plan our trips so we could stop at Cafe de Lipa during open hours. Sadly, things have deteriorated badly. The coffee is still good, but we served served industrial grade pandesal with unrecognizable filling. My wife is a chef and even she couldn 't taste the difference between what they called pork adobo and tuna mushroom.
