"Arrived, no booking; Accepted, sat down, received menu for both food and wines drinks. When placing the order was explained the Wednesday and Thursday evening meal specials. (Pay and donation to local organisation). The pre-dinner bread was something special. We both had Kangaroo with...veggies. Cannot complain cooked to perfection; the Roo was mouth watering, the veggies crisp and fresh. Our wine was cold and lovely."

"Ordered takeaway on a Sunday evening. Was told it would be about 20mins wait due to it being a busy night, which I had no issues with however I ended up waiting well over an hour. After initially waiting for half an hour I asked how much longer it would be and was told that it would be about 10mins... 45mins later the food came out. Terrible service."

"Friendly service and terrific food. The menu is not particularly extensive (and different to what is posted on their website) but don’t let that deter you. The food was excellent, especially the massive fall-off-the-bone rack of ribs. The steak was also perfectly cooked with a...fine pepper sauce. Recommended."

"I have grown up in takeaway shops serving awesome works burgers and I managed an “American” burger joint, so finding an awesome burger is hard for me. I’m happy to say that I found it at James’s Place and I’ll be back to try the BBQ pork burger. Well done!!!"
