Contribute FeedbackBoston Pizza is a hit-or-miss experience, with inconsistent service and food quality. Some customers have faced rude servers and delays in receiving their orders, while others have been delighted by friendly service and delicious meals. Despite mixed reviews, the restaurant has its upsides. Their pastas and pizzas are tasty, especially enjoyed as takeout. The Big Dipper and roast beef are popular menu items, and fans await the return of the meatball sandwich. The restaurant offers daily specials and sometimes features entertaining attractions like magician Chris Westfall. Overall, some diners have had positive experiences after giving the establishment another chance.
I never dined there and i only come here for takeouts. Of course, their pizzas are tasty and i love the crust. But they are a bit expensive because they are "gourmet" pizzas. However, I particularly go there because of their pastas. They are pretty good and they come in pretty big portions. I like that they are closed late so we can get a late takeout.
Went tonight for my daughters birthday. It's been 10 years since I've been in a Boston Pizza and I guess it took that long to forget the last experience. Food - terrible, beer - flat, service- weak, interior - dated and freezing. They did nothing special for a 7 year old on her birthday and didn't even have crayons to colour with while we waited. Will NEVER be back.
The last time we were out to Boston Pizza, the place was packed, but this time the place was almost empty, so perhaps that in itself tells you something - and this for a Saturday night. I had a coupon emailed to my BP email account, but the waitress said it was only usable on a full rack of ribs even though that was not mentioned in the email. The ribs were good, as was the fettuccini, but the ketchup for the fries was not offerd until well into the meal, there was no ground pepper or grated cheese, although other tables were offered, and just a single napkin - for ribs? Little things, yes, but they do reflect on the overall establishment.
Every day they have a different food or drink special but I tend to gravitate to my favorite - The Big Dipper. Roast beef is always tender and slice thin, tasty bun and I like mine with a salad. Pizza's are good too! My wife would like it if they brought back their meatball sandwich.
We keep giving this place another chance and they keep letting us down. Six of us tonight took an hour to get food, and then we didn 't even get ALL the meals. Two people had to wait. Veggies were raw, cold. Pasta was under cooked....Wings were cold. What a disaster! Server was attentive and apologetic, but still ... why can 't they figure out how to get the food right?
