The manager accommodated my husband's celiac needs including gluten-free dessert! Gazpacho was wonderful.

My husband and I decided to go here for dinner after all the great yelp reviews.

A fantastic place for lunch offering quality food at reasonable prices.

This is an excellent spot (if you find it) for lunch before or after visiting the Chateau of Bussy-Rabutin. it may well be the only spot near there.

Situation, castle features, moat, portraits hanging in the galleries, the beautifully kept gardens. The whole place oozed tranquility on the outside and history...

"We have mixed feelings about this restaurant. it is a modern and attractive place. the service was friendly and efficient, although it was crowded on a sunny Saturday lunch. we took this as a good sign. most people sat outside while we sat inside to avoid possible smokers....The tagliatelle with salmon in a crème sauce was excellent. the tagliatelle was boiled al dente. but the Margharita pizza was actually terrible. the crust resembled more a cake crust than a chewing pizza crust. Up there was a huge bup mozzarella cheese – much too much for a normal pizza. 15 black olives were scattered on the cheese – again too many. it didn't taste like a pizza, except the mozzarella cheese. I tried to fix it by asking for some olive oil that was immediately brought to the table. I also added a little pfefferincino I always wear with me. it didn't help. as a veteran italian traveling we do not expect an authentic Italian pizza outside italian. but wood fired or not, this pizza was really terrible and one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. we can recommend this restaurant, but in any case skip the pizza."

"Stayed on half board basis.We were 3 couples and stayed in the Accommodation in Rougemont (3 Kms from le Marronier), an old farm and maison de maitre that have been reconverted in accommodation and Lodging when the Marronnier logis is full. Le Marronier is a...family owned business, located right on the Burgundy canal and different members of the family drove us back and forth from restaurant to accommodation, as we parked our bikes for the night at the back of the restaurant. There was a fridge with beer and honesty box, tea and coffee facilities at the Rougemont accommodation. We had bought a bottle of wine (from the bar) to drink as an aperitif and the staff put 6 wine glasses in the fridge. Such a nice gesture! The food at the restaurant was great, attentive service and very reasonable bill. The owner gave us 2 different wines for us to try and gave us explanation. We sat and had dinner outside on the terrasse and had breakfast inside. Generous breakfast with juice, bread, croissant, pain au chocolat etc. Would definitely recommend to stop there if you are cycling along the Burgundy canal."
