"We ate there with my wife for the first time this evening. From the welcome, to the decoration and especially the meal, everything was truly incredible! We had a great time and the meal was delicious! I have never eaten such a tender and tasty piece of beef! "My parents moved to the Mezieres area and my husband and I came over to visit. We weren't that optimistic about finding a nice restaurant to go out leaving the baby behind as it seems like a very rural area... don't be fooled. The food at the Boeuf was delicious we had the Rillettes de Canard and the Foie Gras, followed by the speciality of the house, the Boeuf Couronne. For a cheese plate, we had a whipped goats cheese and salad. Dessert was Coeur de Brenne for my husband and local ice cream for me. The food was really great quality, cooked to perfection, and service was very friendly not always a common occurrence in France! The pace of the meal was good, we didn't feel rushed at all. The restaurant was full, so book in advance so you aren't disappointed. The menu offers two set price menus, or a la carte, which I would say was more expensive for starters and desserts, but the set price menus were very good value."
