The Caravela has always been a great place to drink and socialise in Foz Do Arelho but the new owners (Breno, Suzie Simon) have taken it to a new level with their new food menu (I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PORK, BURGER and FISH AND CHIPS).The regular entertainment has been very good and just bringing their own personalities to the fore with the clients has made it a top place to drink with friends or alone. This is a newly opened establishment which I would have liked to support. Unfortunately, they served the worst meal I have ever had in Portugal. Clams to start of which at least one quarter had not opened. Severely undercooked burger had to return. Untoasted Bun and uncooked thickly cut onion. Was offered 15% of our next meal !!!!!!!
