What Lilly Adams likes about 47 Grains The:
First time at this restaurant nice surroundings and we had a good table. We ate from the Early Bird Menu which is small but I felt there was a good choice i had the haddock mousse to start and the lamb Henry ..enjoyed both dishes although rather too much couscous with the Lamb Henry. Raspberry creme brûlée to finish. The service was very good friendly and efficient waiting staff. We weren’t rushed away from the table... View all feedback.

Certainly enjoyed the food and the staff were really friendly. However, service was very slow. minutes for starters and two hours in total for two courses. A shame really, given the great flavours. View all feedback.

"Dixons used to be amazing with great value for money and the best ice cream around but recently it just get worse each time. Went yesterday. Ice cream was so sloppy it was more the consistency of a milkshake. I asked for cream on top and it was again sloppy and made me feel ill so I ended up leaving it. I told the woman serving the ice cream was very runny and she just shrugged it off. I’d like to say it could be a one off but I’d gone to the swan lane Dixons as the Leeds Road one is always melting ice cream and rude servers but swan lane was no better. The best I would say is the one down in Batley but this is hit and miss on what theirs is like which makes me think the company just doesn’t really care anymore. I discovered Dixons in my uni days and since have come back to Huddersfield at least once a month with family to introduce them to it but I think now it’s time to stop. Each year they make the cones and tubs smaller and the price goes up. Save yourself £5 and just get a McFlurry."
