Beautiful location for this pub, friendly service. Nice beer, clean loo’s. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny afternoon. parasols or some shade would have been useful? It is set on its own, in a little dell you sense the history and quaint atmosphere of the place. We enjoyed a couple of beers before the sun got too hot, maybe take a hat? Ordered steak pie Chicken burger. The pastry on the bottom was very doughy under cooked . The Chicken burger came with salad on a HOT plate and the bottom of the bun was also soggy. To top it off the waitress asked us if we wanted the change back when we paid. All in all it the best. read more.
