With the addition of McCafe offerings and new pastries, the restaurant provided a nice experience with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it ideal for families with young children who can enjoy the play area. Overall, opinions on this particular McDonald's location vary, with complaints about food quality and service mixed with positive feedback about the pleasant atmosphere and offerings.
My wife, granddaughter, and I stopped for a quick dinner at this restaurant while we were on our way out of town. We ordered a few burgers with fries and drinks. Everything went smoothly, but we were disappointed to find that the fries were lacking seasoning and tasted quite bland. Additionally, the two hot drinks we ordered were very weak in flavor, almost like drinking water with a hint of syrup. Even my diet coke was not up to par. Overall, it was not the best visit to a McDonald's.
The restaurant now offers McCafe and new pastries including lemon cake and fresh muffins, making it a great spot for a quick coffee and dessert. On a recent visit during a hot day, we indulged in the new Nanaimo sunflower pastry and some delicious treats. We also enjoy their smoothies. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms. Overall, a pleasant experience!
I had a bad meal at Montana, but McDonald's Quarter Pounder saved the day with its perfect taste.
I ordered a cheeseburger and a 10 piece Nugget. There were four cars in the line, including me. I waited for fifteen minutes to get into the window. And then I waited there for another five (I close) to get my food. I can apologise her tardiness because it was 1:30 and traffic was probably heavier than they were used. But guess what I found in my bag when I opened it? A cheeseburger with a bungalow that was hard and began to flee as soon as I touched it. I thought they tortured the bun. A bit later proved that wishful thinking. It also showed another surprise. There was no cattle patty. Only cheese and ketchup. As an extra kick in the pants, my nuggets were just a 9 piece. I'm not going to McDonald's quality food. But that was an all-time low. I have a better service and a better food in a greasy spoon in the northern BC. Don't go here. They don't care.
Typical McD's food but the real draw was the play area since we were dining with our 3 year old grandchild. She played and would run back from time to time to eat. Premises were clean and service was good.
