Carving Room officially has the best brunch menu item in DC. Their traffic jam seen in the photo below gives you everything you want for Sunday breakfast: cheesy eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and French toast with their signature rasberry sause. Maybe I chose poorly as all the other reviews seem to rave about the food, but I wasn’t overly impressed. For the price, I expected a little more. Any sandwich that costs over $20 really ought to be something special. But the pastrami ciabatta was pretty ordinary.
