"Had THE best time at the Wheelhouse in September. We were delighted to get in at all as it can be fully booked six months in advance. It absolutely did not disappoint, and even exceeded our expectations. Was wonderfully quirky, staff very attentive, and most...importantly the food was sublime. Freshly caught local shellfish cooked to perfection, with local homemade bread and crispy fries. The welcome and ambience felt like we were at a good friend's house for dinner (a Michelin starred chef friend), in their front room overlooking the harbour. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.. If you can go, please do so.. You will not be disappointed. Simply THE best restaurant in the whole of Cornwall, never mind Falmouth. recommend"

"I cannot stress enough how strongly this place qualifies as a must go . The daily special was ciabatta grilled aubergine sandwich that was expertly made, beautifully presented and tasted just as good! The beetroot hummus falafel though is the MVP. I still have day dreams about it! Great place for vegetarians. The service is warm and prompt. If I haven 't mentioned before, this is a must go in penzanze"
