I’m sorry but we didn’t think these pasties were very good. I ordered steak and I think I had 3/4 tiny pieces of steak inside with a lot of potato. Not enough seasoning and definitely not enough steak! Pastry wasn’t bad. Poor quality. "We had a fabulous meal here yesterday evening for my husband's birthday, with our two children. The food was great, found it difficult to choose what to eat, as such a lovely menu- the scallops were amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and particularly accommodating as my son has a severe nut allergy. Will definitely book again when we are next down in Cornwall."

"We stopped here for lunch on the way back from the bodmin wenford steam train; it felt a bit like a magic mysteries tour, but the sat nav led us to a beautiful pub in a stunning location. excellent food service. I had the whispers, my man had the fish goujons, my father the (enormous! pork chop, my daughter sink, egg chips and my son the steak chips. everyone was thrilled what I think could be a first! highly recommended."
