Probably the worst restaurant food standard I have ever had my partner I dine out 3 or 4 times a week . Pity we didn't dine at the nearby Vietnamese restaurant...

"Recent changes to this eatery had kept me away, but looking for take away for the family one night and picked up a menu... phoned my order ahead, and went in to collect. Food was ready, a quick run down on the new business model and I was good to go! Food was amazing, as it has always been. So no disappointments here!"

"They are pretty busy in the holiday season, but we also being well taken care for. they are organised, everyone know what they doing. we order chicken schnitzel burger, it doesn’t look presentable but taste fine. Crispy skin potato are pretty good, it hot and kind of crispy. also the eggplants stew thingy with bread, that was AMAZING!! ice chocolate was pretty thick, a little bit too sweet. we were thinking to get some dessert but we was way too full so have to skip that. perhaps next time."

"The decor is nice, the food was tasty, the staff waitress was abrupt and inflexible. I ordered a dish that came with 2 eggs. I asked could I swap one egg for a piece of toast and leave out the salsa salad. Waitress said they...will not alter any menu item so I could not swap the egg for a piece of toast. It’s not a difficult swap and the slice of bread is probably cheaper and easier to cook than an egg. Conversely they were quite happy to leave out the salad but still charge me the same price. Inflexible attitude to a very easy substitution and abrupt tone of voice mean I would not recommend this cafe in a town where there are several other hopefully more friendly and flexible options to try."

"When a fly literally drops in the patrons coffee as you place it in front of them no matter what irrespective of what the customer says show some self respect, respect for your patron, reputation, other oatrons watching and so on and make another coffee. You're in the wrong job and perhaps on the wrong planet otherwise.Good chips Aioli scrambled eggs good, nice sourdough bread confused about the description of the dish what was put in front of me 3 slices of red chilli on the scrambled eggs is chilli eggs? My better half describes the hot chocolate as nothing special, however the Bacon egg roll gets a thumbs up.Finally, how do you literally seem to house every fly in Castlemaine within your Cafe when there are none outside?Coffee weak unfortunately I know coffee.Nice front facade reasonable pleasant enough inside apart from the flies.Just remembered, totally understand welcome service dogs anywhere not a fan of a random dog on the floor where I eat, nor was my better half or daughter.We stand by this review 100% I just bumped from 1 star to 2 stars out of the goodness of my heart."
