Great atmosphere and the staff took extra care of our party of 12 (4 adults, 8 kids).

I have no words to express the unpleasantness of the food, when you go to a place you want to savor a delicious meal. but neither was she visibly rich. If I could give -10 I would. a place not to return.

Horrible service!! I’m by myself. Went to the bar got a beer sat down at a table. Looked at a menu for 20 minutes, no one ever came to talk to me. Wait staff walked by me numerous times without acknowledging me. Went to the bar for a 2nd beer sat down looked at the menu again and no one approached. Maybe since I was alone they thought I wasn’t going to spend enough money for them to care. With service like that I will never return. Lesser places have better service!

Ambiance is wonderful. Service was horrible. Asked for a straw 3 times and never received one. My order was wrong and they tried to charge extra to fix it. Meal was mediocre at best.

We booked a weekend at DogHouse with our two dogs and some friends, and we were really excited because the hotel has basically everything we could want; it is extremely dog-friendly, carbon NEGATIVE, and a bunch of beer-related perks. We were booked in a ground-level room with a walk-out patio for the dogs.We checked in and received a free check-in beer, and went to the room to unpack. We did book a specific dog party package, which included two dog toys and another (human) beer. Super cool!We realized soon after unpacking that many of the cool things about this hotel brewery were superficial.DogHouse likes to advertise about their environmentally-friendly qualities, such as having refillable bathroom toiletries, being Certified B-Corp, and reducing their carbon emissions as much as possible. Well, this seemed to be short-sighted because they have such bad tap water (their words, not mine) that they have complimentary Boxed Water that they dole out to everyone, and after asking specifically for tap water, I was able to pry that there WAS a filtered water bottle station in the fitness center. Moreover, in the brewery itself, they had no issue serving beers in glasses but every table was given plastic cups for water.I eat a plant-based diet because I care about the environment and its inhabitants. DogHouse brags about its 50% vegetarian and 25% vegan menu so I was excited to try the food they offered. Unfortunately, there were just a few vegan options for lunch/dinner and NONE for breakfast. Well, I guess there was fruit. Personally, and I am sure for many others, I cannot eat fruit for breakfast and go about my day. Everyone else could choose from a plethora of options: pastries, cereal, yogurt, some egg dishes the works. Instead, I drove into Columbus to get a real breakfast. If I stayed two full days, I would have exhausted their lunch/dinner options as well (a burger, a taco, a pizza, and a salad). Most people could stay a week without trying their entire menu. I bring this up because if they truly cared about the environment and its guests, they would have a much more expansive plant-based that incudes breakfast- something that is included in your nightly rate.Being a brewery hotel, I would assume they want you to stay around all day, drink beer, and hang out. All of their beers are heavy and hoppy you can't drink something like that all day long. Even their lager could have been characterized as an IPA. They don't really have anything but IPAs and sours.My dogs had a great time for the most part. My only complaint, though, is that it turns into a dog park on a busy night. Most of the problems stem from the owners, who let their dog off-leash in spite of the on-leash rule stated. That would be nice if it were enforced. Some dogs were actively harassing and aggressively lunging at other dogs and humans would walked by, which seems like an accident waiting to happen. It was a mess.All in all, I would not come back. The beer isn't enjoyable, the breakfast isn't accommodating and the price is too expensive knowing we would need to get breakfast and lunch elsewhere, and the atmosphere can become hectic and stressful with owners ignoring their dogs.
