man, I love this place. everything was on the spot and we share five escapes, just to get a feeling for the place on our first visit. the sopis were killer, easy my favorite dish of what we had. at the advice of the staff we got the chorizo, and I am grateful that we did this! What Josh doesn't like about La Bamba Mtz:
This place is very hit or miss. Some things, like their tamales, are very good. Other things, like their mole and enchiladas, are not really the best compared to the dozens of other small Mexican restaurants I've been to up and down the coast. Also, for the quality of the food, their prices are a little on the high side.That being said, their chips seem to be home made, as well as the guacamole, so that's a plus! View all feedback.
