"The best reason to stop at the picturesque, calmed canal city canastota is to visit casatinas restaurant. despite covid and all crazy rules, it is still possible to get excellent Italian food. look at the take-out menu, it can be limited in the choice, but huge on taste. christina and their culinary skills create still wonderful dishes."

"Had a wonderful meal here on Thanksgiving! Very home style cooking. We made reservations and were promptly seated upon arrival. The decor is a little dated but the food is great. Wait staff was attentive and cleared empty dishes quickly. Many style meals were available to include steak, shrimp and the classic turkey. Ordered the turkey meal and it came with white and dark meat, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce covered in gravy. There was also a side salad and dessert, apple or pumpkin pie! Food was plentiful and warm when arriving at the table. Very tastey. It was filling to the point we had to get pie to go! Kudos to the staff for taking Thanksgiving to make other a meal. Great job and would recommend Theodore's to anyone for a good home style cooked meal."

"Waitresses are always nice and friendly to my family and me. I haven't had a bad meal yet, and any problems with my meal will not be resolved. They do not accept cards, only cash, but it keeps prices low and fair. I love coming here."

"I'm always down to try new chicken, especially when it's claimed to be one of the best. I've seen Yankee Doodle Dandy parked outside my office building almost daily. Their 4.5 star overall rating is what got me to order from them one day. The guy in the truck who took my order was super friendly, and gave me my food pretty quickly. I ordered the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner combo which came with chicken tenders, fries, and a slice of Texas toast. The fries and sauce were a great combo, and the Texas toast was buttery-goodness. The chicken tenders, however, were a bit of a salt bomb. I had to rub the breading off to be able to finish them after my first one. I'm was hoping for more with the all the raving reviews. Maybe I'll give them another chance in the future, or try their chicken sandwich instead."

"Been here several times for lunch and all have been excellent. Candy provided excellent service. Chicken soup and New England soup as well as their other choices are fantastic. Some I can not get enough of! Spouse I both had their Haddock special with Onion Rings for me, Soup for spouse. Fish was great. Highly recommend you stopping when driving through or in town."
