This was our second meal there, the first being a year ago. The mark of a really good restaurant is its consistency, and we were not disappointed on that point. The staff are as charming and efficient as ever. I had the anchovy on toast followed by the Hiromasa kingfish with charcoal grilled asparagus and Sarah had the Octopus, both small dishes. They were cooked to perfection and attention to detail. We both had ‘Ja... View all feedback.
What Wayne W doesn't like about Temporada:
We started with the anchovy and pepper toast and the prawn. Prawn was excellent but the anchovy was bland. Followed with the octopus, very good. Had the duck to finish. The duck breast was excellent but the legs were a little dry. The wine list is good with enough by the glass allowing easy matching to the dishes. Overall good, but could have been better. One of the best cheeseburgers I ever had outside the USA
Amazing food and good value for money in a stylish, contemporary restaurant.
Great place for breakfast, food and coffee are tasty and the staff friendly
What an experience, the Crumbed Mushroom Burger was magic followed up by the best mousse ever!
If I could rate zero for customer service I would. I would also have loved to try their food but sadly that will never happen. It all started with me organising a surprise dinner for my husband birthday however the night we showed up (8 pax) we found I had made a mistake with the booking and got the wrong day, which was accidentally booked for the week before. This turned out to be the most costly mistake I have ever made. I had a lot going on in my life at the time and got confused by the online booking system. We saved the night and found another restaurant willing to take us. Crisis averted, or I thought it was until I found out Temporada had charged my credit card the full amount $780!!! I felt sick, I couldn’t afford that right before Christmas let alone any other time. I emailed them explaining I was so sorry for the booking mistake and would they consider refunding me or reducing the amount they charged me. Surely they would meet me half way. They replied quite curtly saying no and that it was like a theatre ticket, if you missed the night you couldn’t get a refund. But it’s nothing like a theatre ticket, they didn’t lose $780 worth of food. They refused to negotiate with me at all. Obviously profit is the only thing that matters and to hell with common decency.
