"We came here after hiking to Pico do Ruivo and it was the best decision ever! This place is so authentic. You are very warm welcome and offered a drink. We took 2 sangrias of maracuja. As main dish we took fish with banana. Oh my God, it was so delicious!!! We also recommend to take the garlic bread. All in one: great place to be! Worth 5 stars."

"The constant sound of the microwave was disconcerting. Bad produce quality and frozen meat result in a bad attempt at being a 4 start hotel restaurant. Don’t recommend at all. The cheese plate is ridiculous"

"I was recommended to come here by a Portugese Tour Guide to have the Espetada. On arrival we found the staff rather abrupt with us. We were seated and menus given. A couple of minutes after if that we were asked what drinks we wanted. I advised we were still choosing our wine the guy walked off with a sigh. Anyway wine order was taken and wine was tasted by me I advised I found it quite sharp and got told it will be fine when we are eating. Chap came to take food order and whilst taking it the bottom of my wine glass dropped off on to the table. He scooped the glass from me poured the wine into another glass and carried on taking the food order. After food order was taken I noticed splinters of glass all on the table which I had to remove, he should have done this not me"
