The staff is very very sweet and offered me ice! Which was the first time I was ever offered ice during my trip in France! I missed Vietnamese food so badly while I was here, and sure enough, the people who own the restaurant are Vietnamese and made me feel so at home! The food was good, comforting Vietnamese food so don’t expect anything elaborate, but it was great! View all feedback.
What noscreepjr doesn't like about Viet Thai:
Ordered takeout, so this review is based on the food and not the service or the restaurant in general. I have definitely had better thai food else where. Got the pad thai and steamed dumplings. Was quite bland and not really much too it. Quite disappointing to be honest... View all feedback.

My husband and I eat a lot of Thai so when we came to Cannes on vacation, we wanted to have some Thai food as well. We were so disappointed with this restaurant. The curry didn't resemble Thai in any way. The sauce was watery and bland. I understand that the French don't like spicy food but this was just plain bad. Never again.
Finding this place as nothing special. Had better Thai in Cannes area. Food was good, not really tasty. Feels like need more spices, more life in general. really nice service :
We're in Cannes as one of the stops of our NCL Epic cruise and we're glad to have found this place for lunch. We're skeptical at first (an Asian restaurant in a place like Cannes? has to be a tourist trap right?), but not at all. We found out later that the owner was Vietnamese and we believed him and his wife cook all the food and everything we ordered was excellent and very authentic. Fresh and hot, and best of all the price was decent. One suggestion for the owner, pay attention to your service, if your business pick up, hire more servers, it's a bit slow but since we're not in a rush it wasn't an issue that day.
