"They had a special of 2 one pound lobsters and corn on the cob for $22. We got it along with an order of onion rings. The lobsters were brought right off the fishing boat to put it into the steamer which was very impressive. The corn was very good and was very fresh as we actually saw the person shuck the corn in order to boil it. The onion rings were made on the spot by cutting up onions and breading them and frying them. All in all the meal was fresh and very delicious and we were impressed. We found a picnic table on the waterfront close by and were able to eat there. we would definitely come back again if we were in the area."

"I was with 2 friends and the only thing worth eating there are the jalapeño poppers. The BBQ sauce tasted like straight Molasses, the so called spicy one tasted like alcohol. All the meat we tried was served cold with no flavor. We paid $7.00 for 5 mini 1x1 inch pieces of corn bread (crumbs)drowning in honey. $9 for a fried baked potato. $6.00 for 5 oz of bland, cold, mac and cheese. $10.00 nachos that were not even close to being a nacho, the base was pork rinds? No cheese and like 5 pieces of corn with grass on the top??? BARF... needless to say we will not be returning. The service was great and atmosphere was good. Wish the food lived up to the hype. My recommendation is to drive a little more north and hit Moe's BBQ in South Portland if you want real food."

"My wife and I went to KPT when I saw a boat with a bar. I had to go! We found out they opened a few days early for the season. We had a few drinks and had a great time chatting with the staff. We came back a few hours for dinner and when we were on the boat we were greeted with Cheers. The food is excellent, the ambience is good on a boat, so it is great and the staff is top notch! I'm so glad we found this restaurant!!! If you ever put Periwinkles on the menu, we have to go back to Boston!"
