"I've been to Carbonear many times. There just wasn't a single location where people would hang like a local.Stone Drug changes all that. First of all the building itself is amazing it's been here since the 1800s. But the new owners have done a complete retrofit. They managed to maintain that old charm while meeting modern accessories.You have to go upstairs it's remarkable.Aside from the surroundings this is a great place to get great micro beer and a nice plate of local fare. It's a tad pricey but consider that a donation to maintaining Newfoundland and Carbonear heritage"
