We went to this restaurant at 7:30 on a Friday night with a group and the place was empty. But within a half hour, it was full. Since there were many of us and we were sharing the tapas, we were able to try a...number of items and they were all very good. View all feedback.
What Murilo Bittencourt doesn't like about Plugg'd:
it was only for a drink with a friend, but I got unhappy to deal with the owner of the place. she was unprofessional (trinken at the bar) and aggressive. even their friends had to calm them down. so surprised by such a terrible. I checked the other reviews and came to the conclusion that I wasn't the first client to have the bad thing to deal with it. stay away from here! View all feedback.
Having been to Carcassonne several times in recent years we both thought that what the place perhaps lacked was a modern, vibrant, trendy venue. Well, this place was always there but we simply didn't know! It's slightly off the beaten track so you're hardly likely to stumble upon it, you need to look at a map and find it but it's well worth it if you do. Probably about 10 minutes walk from Place Carnot it has the appearance of an old warehouse tastefully refurbished and totally open plan. It even has a small beer garden, totally un-French, with live music and quite a few tables and chairs to enjoy your food and drinks. The menu was mainly tapas which looked really good and there is a very large bar area. The evening we went was a Saturday and we expected it to be really busy but it was actually rather quiet (except the beer garden) but this was probably because of the music festival in Place Carnot. My one criticism would be the rather poor service as it took 20 minutes to get our drinks, so quite how they manage when it's much busier I don't know. However, we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a great issue and I'm sure that more staff would be working on other evenings when there isn't a festival in town.Well worth the walk, totally different to anywhere else in town.
