"In this street you will find the only fair and good restaurants in Varadero. Varadero in general is a hell to be anyway if you stay in a Airbnb or something. But this restaurant was nice, we ate here many times because it was the best option Varadero had to offer, together with the other restaurant in this street."

"The owner is just incredibly unfriendly and rude. When we finished our food there were already standing people waiting for a seat. We were so friendly to tell the waiter that we can have our drinks at the seat on the entrance, so they don’t have to stand and be waiting. The waiters response was: ‘ I would have told you this anyways as your reservation is only for an hour’. If we would have known that we need to finish food and drinks within an hour I would have never entered this place. At the end the owner gave us the check in dollars and when we wanted to pay in pesos, he said he has his own exchange rate of 180, while at that time most restaurants re exchanged at 130! Such a scam and unsympathetic Italian, there was no Italy feeling at all, screens are hanging around with beach videos of Italy. This place really dismisses the ‘Nonna’ vibe like the name would suggest! Never again"

"!!CALLING ALL TRAVELLERS!! Went to this lovely restaurant on the Veradero boardwalk. Service was great, given the language barrier they still did everything with a smile and full effort! We ordered the lobster tails and, wow. $7.50CAD for a THICK lobster tail. We immediately regretted not ordering two more. ONE lobster tail like that back home would have cost around $40-$50CAD. Served with rice and choice of veggies or potatoes. It was delicious and savory. We also ordered cheese pizza that was great! !!BRING A WATER BOTTLE!! They were really kind to mention that they only have Tap water. So luckily we had our water bottles from our Hotels, but just as a cautionary warning, do bring a water bottle! They also offer Beer and Coke. Next time I'm in Veradero, me and who ever I'm with will be going here RIGHT after we land. Best place for lobster tails at a ridiculously good price. The name of this restaurant truly speaks for itself, the chef's know what they're doing. Would recommend anyone to give it a try!"
