"We were starving after a long morning drive and decided to try this place because it looked appealing from the outside. While the waitress did not speak a lot of english, she did her best, which was much better than our non-existent French. We greatly appreciated her efforts. The food was glorious. We had the soup of the day, creamy carrot, smoked meat sandwiches with fries and salad, and a lime tartlet for dessert. The soup was terrific and the sandwiches were excellent. This was such a worthwhile stop. Highly recommend you try it if you are in the area!!"

"We arrived at Stewart House for a wedding not too long ago. Although we didn't end up staying the night I had family members who did. This was definitely the place to be throughout our week and the place we came back to. There was a wonderful view of the water, a beautifully maintained garden (and property) and Dawn was so friendly and helpful amidst it all (and we, without a doubt, were a chaotic bunch). The house itself was so cozy and felt just like home. I would definitely recommend Stewart House to anyone passing through."
