"Worst IHOP experience ever! Waited for our food for one hour. The inside of the restaurant is full of flies. The restaurant is empty and they seat us right next to the kitchen entrance. I would not recommend this location to anyone."

"Service was wonderfully fast. with polite and friendly workers as always. would have been 5 stars, but my extra crispy recipe was more like the sum of the type of new Xtra soggy flour coated crumbs.. the chicken was juicy only not crisp. the cookie was on point tho, never disappointed."

"Quaint little cafe in the heart of Carlsbad. I ordered the basics. 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes, hashbrowns, coffee and ice water. Great service and short wait time. The food was good but my only complaint there was the sausage links. Iprefer Jimmy Dean-style sausage links and theirs were the spongy kind you would expect at a hotel continental breakfast. Theprice was a bit steep IMO but I guess we know who to thank for that. All in all a good experience."

"Had Camarones El Mexicana. It was very good. Spanish rice was bland but as usual I don't eat much of the rice. The chips and salsa were very good as well. Service was a bit slow but they were trying to get ready to close and were reasonably busy. Will go back again."

"This place is the real deal, it?s worth a special trip. I am going to think about this meal for the rest of my life. Every time I have a burrito from now on, I?m going to be disappointed because it will never be as good as the one I had here. Also, theirtortillas are fresh and absolutely awesome."

"The food was ok, very bland and tasteless. For some reason the town of Carlsbad hates salt, pepper and spices on her food. The food came in very large portions and was delivered hot. The food presentation is top notch and looks like art. I dined outside was immediately attacked by a band of fucked flies. I had no food before me. The restaurant has a very intimate feeling, so it is perfect for appointments. My server was incredible! She was very happy, upbeat, personable, gave great tips and constantly ensured that I was well taken care of! Staff usually here is excellent and do an excellent job to make all guests welcome."
