"Absolutely loved the place! I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate an anniversary and use were treated so well. We were immediately greeted with drinks of our choice and a bowl of freshly baked bread. Staff came to our table frequently to ensure everything was to our liking. I had the rack of lamb which was wonderfully seasoned and so juicy. The tortellini was bathed in a tasty sauce that warmed us up perfectly. The night was topped of with a pair of port wines that were the cherry on top. All in all would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for ambience, service, and a meal to die for"

"They do not recommend that this place. never. we received our 2 dozen fantasies, and they were pure teigballs and the frosted were packed and shattered on the head. not sure if we are ever back. it needs a certain terrible service to actually pack the donuts that throw them down in frost. all hanging on the box and not edible. we have ordered every week here, but we will not be anymore. disappointed that they say to their good customers on a busy day that they don't need them. made point."

"Absolutely delicious! Not sure who was working the front that day but he was awesome! The service was fast and he answered all my random questions. I think it's cool they kept some stuff from the old Dynasty Chinese restaurant that used to be there. They added their own spin on things so it livens it up. Bright and open space to eat not feeling so close to your neighbors. Highly recommend!"

"Stopped in for a.quick cocktail and snack. The pretzel was definitely one of the best, large, soft pretzels I've had, served with both a unique cream cheese spread and a more traditional mustard sauce. Fun, East Coast-feeling, pub-style decor and friendly service. The Owner's Uncle was a great drink for whiskey lovers."

"That's a good fusion restaurant. They have a good selection of Asian dishes as well as steak and fish. Your drinks are really delicious, and their waiting staff is helpful and about it. The foods and drinks are a bit expensive, but it feels cheap compared to the restaurants nearby."

"Food was somewhat disappointing: The southern fried chicken was very dry and tasteless. The steak was overcooked and did not tasty like it was dry aged. The dessert was just mediocre ice cream with fancy presentation. The beef noodle thing was very average in terms of flavor. Fish taco and sashimi wonton was delicious. However, the price was reasonable and the vibe was good."

"UPDATE 7.23.22: My wife and I decided to enjoy a proper meal at Vesuvio during our last stay in Carmel. We made reservations the day before and when we arrived for our reservation, we were warmly welcomed and quickly set. I noticed during our meal that there were a long number of people waiting to sit, so it is probably a good idea to make reservations to avoid a long waiting period. We started with a glass of Vesuvio 's brand wine, the Pepe Vesuvio. And since we really enjoyed the dipped Gnocchi appetizers during our previous visit to the Starlight Roof Terrace Lounge, we had to reorder this joy. We have also added an order of 4 meatball lollipops; this dish is basically Vesuvio 's meatball on a spit in marinara. Both the gnocchi and the meatballs were delicious. My wife ordered the Pacific Northwest Salmon that the waiter had mentioned was caught locally. The salmon came with couscous and grilled asparagus and had a beautiful lemon caper sauce. I had a nibble and it was delicate and tasteful. I ordered the Sgt. Pepe 's 1944 meat lasagna, which is a family recipe. It was a pretty piece of lasagna, a la carte. It was hard as expected, but very good. It was big enough that I only saved by half and the rest for later. Finally, we ordered a cream broiler and divided. Just a nice visit with good service. Prices are moderate. We sat on the open-air deck for appetizers and wine. It was a pretty lively scene for a Monday night. The upper deck has a number of fire places and heaters to keep everyone warm. We enjoyed a glass house Cab everyone and ordered a few appetizers: truffle Gnocchi and Calamari Fritti. The gnocchi was baked in a tasteful sauce with truffle oil and Parmigiano. The Calamari consisted of tubes and tentacles and came with tasteful Chipotle aioli Dip. My wife ordered the bisque soup we also shared. The service was a little dirty, but the food was excellent."
