Whiskey Hill Saloon - Cassadaga

Used to be a wonderful restaurant and bar, but now it seems more concerned to be a party bar. You're okay with bar food now, but don't let a family in. I came to eat with my daughter and 15 years old granddaughter, it's the only restaurant in Cassadaga. They said we couldn't eat there when grandchild was under 21. What was disturbed is that they have a fairly decent large dining area separated from the bar area. But no, let's not eat there if we don't buy alcohol. What a shame. I don't understand young children at a bar, but a 15-year-old girl in the dining room? I know that's not a state law, it's their preference. I have nothing against bars, but if you have food and tables, I have eaten there before this incident. Food was not exceptional enough to give them business and to support their obvious misunderstanding of families with their businesses.

So juicy and the food and drinks were amazing! The owner was as personal as her daughter, the bartender. This is an adult (21 , venue.

My family and I always loved this place. Not anymore. The food wasn't very good. I have the pulled pork sandwich very little meat and no Bbq sauce. The baked potato could fit into the palm. I expected a little more for 18 dollars. You also calculate for your soda refills. You also calculated 3 dollars for a 2 ounce cup of acid cream?!? Shouldn't that come with the baked potato? I'm sorry we don't come back.

We love this place, but we weren't in a while. Not sure they're on their way or not. If so, we'd go back and see if it's as good as it is.

Google says they are open on Sundays at noon and they are doing takeout. Neither are true. Wish they'd do take out again
