"We’d been out to Mértola which was well worth the drive and thought we’d swing in here for lunch on the way back been before and enjoyed it We sat down and a waitress happened to come across to a table near to us, she saw us as she did a double take and then proceeded in having a catch up with a lady on this table I have no issue with that but surely you’d do what you’re being paid to do and then back to her to carry on Fifteen minutes and then she went to go back inside but remember we were there and took our drinks order, it wasn’t busy and we both ordered burger on a plate which wasn’t rocket science but again we’d both drunk our drinks by the time this arrived and while others food was being served I’m not going to totally destroy the place as it might have been a one off but it shouldn’t take an hour and fifteen minutes to order cook and eat some fries a burger on its own and some salad"

"Living very near to this restaurant it has been a firm favorite and a regular place for great food and a location to die for. However, yesterday my wife booked a table for seven with friends visiting from the UK and Barcelona and she was shocked at the terrible service. It seems that the waiting staff have a big problem with offering a friendly service with a smile and the waiter that served us was rude, arrogant and totally unhelpful. I guess we spent at least 200 euros and expected a good dining experience. What a shame, the cooking is great, the location is awesome and some employee is damaging the reputation of what is a well known and very popular restaurant. I suggest the management should look into this and make sure the staff are properly trained and provide a service with a smile."
