"We arrived at the restaurant shortly before closing but managed to secure a table. With four adults and four teenagers in need of pizza I presumed the pizza quality would suffer and service be staggered at best.WRONG! All pizzas were served together and all piping...hot. The pizzas were superb, delicious beyond expectation and comparable to any artisan pizza we have tried and a lot more for. As the evening grew chilly we we invited inside the restaurant by the hostess just as our pizzas were ready to serve. From my seat I had a clear view of the chef at work. Absolutely stunning pizza making skills. So close to closing time these last few pizzas were made with care, skill and artistry worthy of an entry into a pizza competition. Wish I could have expressed my respect to the chef in more than infant level french with an accompanying cheeky northern wink and thumbs up."

"They sell gf macarons in store but you can also order a gluten free creation for the next day. When I visited they offered only one option for order it had a cake base with layers of strawberry mousse, coulis and a nutty nougatine. Can be ordered as an individual piece or a bigger cake for 4. "Book in advance, as this small salon du thè is quickly filled. Stéphane and Réjane work hard to make this charming little tea shop a friendly and relaxed place for lunch. No such thing as a 'simple salad ' here, as the salads are packed with...fresh ingredients, pasta, crudités, herbs etc, just delicious. Why not try the 'plat du jour ' the hot dish of the day, again tasty, fresh and accompanied with wonderful garnish. The desserts are to die for my favourite is certainly for the chocoholics, the 'truffon ' which is a brownie base topped with Grenache... All in all, an authentic experience and delicious food with friendly owners... Not to be missed!"
