We had lunch at l'Auberge Normande en route to the UK. It is brilliantly positioned just off junction 18 (Alencon Nord) of the A28 between Le Mans Rouen. What CWRnNorfolk doesn't like about Auberge Normande:
A disappointment after the good reviews. There was nothing the matter with the meal, but it was not exciting or noteworthy. The simple menu (very good value, admittedly, at €13.50) had only one meat choice andouilette. The next menu up is €22.
