My husband and I wanted to get a taste of the real Argentina. We booked a day on the ranch . Our tour guide Pablo was great from Signature Tours. The restaurant is larger than one would expect. It has multiple rooms with fireplaces. The back area has open views of the mountains. The duck three ways was disappointing. The three pieces of duck breast were very oversalted. The duck pie was very unremarkable. The one piece of duck sausage was mild and maybe the best duck piece on the plate. "Walked past this place while out for dinner. Could tell straight away it would be where I was going for my coffee the next morning (you can judge a cafe by its looks!). The coffee was fabulous - way better than I expected to find in Cessnock - and while I didn't get breakfast after seeing the menu I would have been happy to."

"I like the fact that this buffet charges by a child's age and we have a child 7 years hence $7 and a child 10 hence $10 They enjoy a meal plus some ice cream or other sweets.Two pictures attached. "We had breakfast at Simply D'Vine and the food and coffee is simply fabulous. We ordered avo feta smashed with grilled tomato, poached eggs and sour dough as well as the mushrooms with poached eggs. The staff said the smoked salmon and bacon were not available. The mushrooms dish is excellent, the taste and texture is well done and a tinge of truffle oil. If you like something less commercialise and rustic, you should visit this joint- it is not far not Hunter Valley Visitor Centre."
