"A long, long time ago we came to you (with the albatross) great memories of, for example, the wild meadow, Rob on the tractor, your 3 children... the hospitality, and the delicious sandwiches and croissants in the morning, Mariet? what wonderful weeks we spent with you for a few years, there was no swimming pool yet, as far as the reviews are concerned, I think a lot has changed... we didn't miss that at all, there was the lake, right? Later, without children, we suddenly dropped in on you again during the high season, 1999? we were recognized after all these years, and we were so welcome again! "We were struggling to find a restaurant on our last night and after calling around the 6 top rating restaurants we found this one, we arrived after a short drive to a very warm welcome.The hotel reception was a little dated however the restaurant had a very nice look about it and the terrace was great.The food was locally sourced and cooked wonderfully accompanied with a great selection of wines and all served at a great price.Well worth a visit."

"Exceptional waiterss in Roman shoes made us feel right at home and served us with perfect France arrogance. The food was amazing and pizzas made us so so full. Very good food and liver was also very good. The bald manager was a tad nervous but was friendly in the end. 5/5 would recommend."
