"The food was excellent as usual. Our only problems come from the staff that was small. They removed our bread if we wanted to keep it. I had to ask for a fork at the salad and main dishes, and my wife had to ask for a knife. Overall a very pleasant experience."

"Just tried Cafe Kopi out today and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was very polite and my chai latte was great. I loved the huge study room. The bathroom was a little under kept and while I liked my drink it was a little pricey, but I thought it was a nice accent to the time I spent studying there. Will be coming back!"

"I came here for a birthday dinner for a family member on a Saturday night. They do not make reservations on Saturdays (which is good at me) and we had a party of six, so we had to wait just like everyone else. It will serve first and wait was estimated at 30 minutes. We waited for about 15 or 20 minutes. As soon as we set ourselves, there were fresh ice-water glasses waiting for us. Our waitress gave us enough time to check the menus and take over our orders. She was very friendly and made sure to keep an eye on our drinks and tables to remove dirty dishes and fill our drinks. The salad bar was filled and kept fresh and a sanitary station was there to observe the health and safety guidelines and reduce the spread of germs. I ordered an alcohol coffee drink and it was made fresh and delivered immediately. It was delicious and warm and so fresh that the picked cream did not begin to melt and mix into the coffee despite warming. We all 6 ordered ribeye steaks and they all came on a plate that sat a flat cast iron skilled surface on a wooden ring to prevent burns. The stakes were so fresh that they were thrown on the plates and one could move the steaks to another place on the plate and Sizzling would go on. They were not over or under season. They tasted as if they had seasoned only a little salt and no other pretentious spices. The baked potatoes and twice baked potatoes were perfectly cooked like steaks. The restaurant manager was very friendly and took some recommendations to the heart and made notes for the next meeting with the new owner. We told our server about the birthday for our family member and they brought a free desert. The waiting times were very short, service was excellent, and the food was amazing. I can definitely see I'm going back here when I bless Steak."

"I took my family here for the first time this past weekend. I was blown away by the desert crepes. The only downside was the store is to small. Champaign don't have to many new and creative places like this. It's almost of everything is for students only.... But over all ,we enjoyed it. I advise anyone else to please check the combination menu out before ordering. They do give you 2 options of ordering and with it being busy... I order separately and spent full price for everything. However me and family enjoyed. We will return and I will just now how to order next time."

"I would love to visit here again someday. I know that it was beyond out of the way when we were making the trip up to Champaign, but this place was a gem to visit with their quality and selection. If I ever get a chance to come back down here, I plan to come again and hope anyone nearby does as well."

"It was ok. Surprisingly the Monical's in Danville Illinois is better. I was given little cups of dressing for my chef salad instead of a bottle. The red peppers in the salad were diced instead of rings..making it harder for people to pick out. Chef salad was smaller compared to the one in Danville. And the meats were cold cuts just sliced in half."
