"We found R kitchen on a whim while we stayed in Charleston to evacuate Hurricane Irma. It was such a great experience! The concept is refreshing and fun and the food was incredible. "Ate outside a couple times but today was my first meal inside the restaurant. Ambiance is great. Service was slow. The menu is always fantastic and the food was good as usual. The pastries are beautiful--today I had the baked alaska and it did not disappoint! Husband doesn't know why I like them so much... said the bread on their sandwiches are too oversized and thought the grits were plain."
