What User likes about Salty Mike's:
if they are looking for a cheap dipping with a great view, salty mike’s deck bar is the place for them. the bar is located under the marina variety store and lies directly on the water. in summer there is a beautiful brise that makes it the perfect place to relax with a cold drink. the bar is visited by the locals, so they can be sure to find a great conversation here. the drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is relax... What User doesn't like about Salty Mike's:
It’s good when it’s open but I’ve been here twice now when they say they’re open but the doors are closed and there’s no sign of anyone. As I said, when it’s open it’s pretty good with a nice enough atmosphere (could do with some newer pool cues) but it’s frustrating to get here and find it closed View all feedback.
Local sailor dive on the marina. Get food orders upstairs from the Variety Store (it's a restaurant) and they'll deliver to you downstairs at the bar....
My favorite dive bar in Charleston. Fried shrimp and tots are a must. Order a Redneck PBR and they will put hot sauce in it for you.
