Having not been here for a while due to a bad experience. Food and service were both shocking. However, we called in today to give it another try. This has got to be the best Greene king pub. The food was absolutely fantastic as was the service. We had scampi, sirloin and Mac n cheese. All came out piping hot and fresh. Couldn’t fault any of it. The Sunday lunch looked fabulous too. Staff were good but food not so. My lasagne tasted sweet and was the worst I have ever eaten. My friends fish and chips was served in a wire basket, how can you eat fish in a wire basket? It looked good though. Why can’t meals be served on a plate? Won’t be going back View all feedback.
