Don't know what everyone else is complaining about this seemed fine to me. I admit it's expensive by pre pandemic standards for the Midlands but they're completely normal for a village pub in 2023 to the eyes of this southerner. The beer was excellent, the staff friendly, the garden compact but scenic, and the soup exactly what I was looking for. View all feedback.

The location is nice,the staff not particularly friendly (perhaps because it was a busy and clammy day) and the food is nothing but barely edible. We selected the vegan option for the Sunday roast and we were served 3 vegan sausages and 3-4 roasted potatoes lost in a very wide plate (surely ideal for the classic version,still not easy on the eyes) each.
