"The older dad wanted a Chinese trip to the picnic of the vater in his garden. I found zenghs for lunch on the internet and on our route. we ordered to collect online. in the arrival, the load is safe, they expected me and brought out...that eat right away. we had almost all vegetarian on the menu fresh veg, spicy sauces made a delicious picnic."

"My mum and I visited as part of a Virgin Experience Day which included an afternoon tea and a day of unlimited travel on the Great Central Railway for two. We arrived earlier than expected as heavy rain meant we couldn't spend as much time outdoors as planned but the staff were very accommodating and soon got our table ready. We were given a large pot of tea, a selection of freshly made ham, cheese and egg mayo sandwiches, warm home baked scones with jam and clotted cream and a variety of mini cakes, all beautifully presented on a cake stand and vintage china. As others have commented below, we couldn't manage it all so were able to take some home to enjoy later! We really enjoyed our time at the tea room, the staff were all very helpful and friendly and the station is delightful, as are all the stops on the GCR. Will definitely be back to try the all day cooked breakfasts! Thank you"

"Great meal off the gluten free menu. Ordered chicken shashlik to start, burger for main and Lemon roulade for pudding. The waitress doubled checked and reassured regularly that the meal was GF. Super friendly and nice ambiance. Sister pubs in local area have same/similar menu are also good. Would recommend."

"We ordered a takeaway for 10 over the Easter weekend..we had several different dishes and almost everyone was very happy with their food. The Cantonese chicken was delicious as was the vegetable chow mein, the egg fried rice, sweet and sour crispy chicken, the spring rolls and the barbecue ribs. The only disappointments were the crispy shredded chilli beef which had a good flavour but was quite tough and the satay sauce which seemed unusually runny. We would have given 5 stars had the chilli beef and the satay sauce been as good as the rest."
