"Visited this restaurant on Sunday lunchtime. What a great place to eat. Food was absolutely excellent. We had the chefs recommended meze plus a few extra dishes. All Di. She's were excellent for mains there was 3 chicken dishes selected plus lamb chops. Once again all meals were enjoyed with comments of we will definitely be back. Service was good with nothing being too much trouble. Khalid is an exceptionally nice person a chef Ali does a great job. We will definitely be back."

"After I had expressly asked for no tomaten on a full English breakfast and paid extra for hash browns, my teller arrived in tinted chopped tomaten. when we returned to the kitchen, we heard the cook say, "I can't be disturbed with all this substitution bollocks." we were insulted and not impressed. any device that disregards its customers on this wise does not deserve the business. we asked for our money back and left immediately without eating. in this case was not tomato a personal choice, but if this had been a food allergy problem?"

"Beautiful, family-run place where we received a warm welcome from the staff, especially jonathon, who showed us in our room. we recently enjoyed our second visit here, but that was the first time we stayed in the pub. our room 'the peacocks' was beautiful with the perfect mix of character and luxury. the evening meal was also delicious and the breakfast. we're coming back!"

"Best Lamb curry ever. I have eaten “Indian” meals sine 1964 in London and Birmingham. Used this restaurant under its previous ownerhip but this experience was extraordinary. My dining companions .enjoyed their meals and commented favourably on the helpful service and advice.. One was a satisfied vegetarian.Good value for money. Will certainly return."
