"We came here for lunch after being recommended it. We were not disappointed! The food was very fresh and delicious and the menu choices were far greater than what we were expecting. "Visited for Sunday lunch as in the area camping. The Peacock was busy and it was a good job we had booked although it didn’t affect the service and quality of the food. Portions were great and the food was great. Staff were very friendly. The only let down was the shortage of beef. However the lamb shank was devine. Hope to visit again when in the area."

"We have never been to the white horse but we heard it was under new ownership. We went with some friends for Sunday lunch and had an amazing meal (and espresso martini) highly recommend and its so close to banbury. There is also a really good park for the kids so everyone is happy!!! Sara."

"Overbearing passive aggressive atmosphere, I've never felt more bullied into making a choice. Less than average food, missing drink from order, incorrect and tricky to understand the hand written bill which was still way more than expected even after the random main dish was removed. Also had the cheek to tell us that service was not included."
